Gaele:

I have a <a href="http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=0&pid=34" rel="nofollow">D-Link bluetooth adapter</a>.

I never got the "too many links" error.

Let me know if you get it working.

Hi Travis,

I've got exactly the same setup as you, so I tried to follow your recipe. However I got stuck after the keyboard pairing. When I try to pair the mouse as well I get "Can't connect: Too many links".

Now I'm trying to find out whether this is a hardware or software, adapter or input device problem. And where this error message comes from. Do you by any chance have an idea? What kind of Bluetooth adapter do you use (lsusb?)

BTW thanks for your post. Once I get past this hurdle I will follow the rest of it.
